Twenty-Seven children age 3-12 read over 340 books. Seventeen of the children reached their personal goal and received prizes. They are: Jaydn Babcock, Kiara Babcock. Dylan Brown, Jack Cary, Sabastian Cheely. Shantae Cheely, Logan Cornell, Caleb Cote, Esther Entingh, Rebekah Entingh, Sarah G. Entingh, Cole Jenner, Hali Jenner, Mackenzy Perry, Ashley Shultz, Megan Shultz, and Daniel Springston. Children who read at least two books also received a prize. They are: Katelyn Cary, Morgan Perry, and Erin Ward. The children who read the most books in their age groups are as follows: Logan Cornell for the 3-5 years old; Sarah G. Entingh for the 6-9 years old; and Daniel Springston in the 10-12 years old group.
Prizes and reading logs can be picked up at the Waverly Free Library Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 AM-9 PM; Friday, 11 AM-5 PM; or Saturday 11 AM-4 PM. The library is located on Elizabeth Street in Waverly.
