- Must be at least 5 years old to get a library card
- Patron must show some ID with their current address on it (Driver’s license, checkbook, mail, receipt, prescription)
- Children under 16 must have their parent come in with them and sign registration card and initial library card
- If patron lives in Pennsylvania, there is a $5.00 fee for the card and the card is good for one year
- The card can be picked up at the library in a week.
- May use the computer right away
- May have out 1 book until card has been processed.
- Lost cards should be reported as soon as possible. A lost card can be replaced for $2.00.
VISITORS
A visitor is someone who will be in the area for a short time only, no more than 3 weeks. You do not need a card if all you want to do is use the computers. If you want to check out materials, or if you will be staying in the area for more than 3 weeks, you will need to have a library card.
